I am always so amazed at the trees here. They are unbelievable in every way. They are huge, and have cool designs to them. Casey looks like he is standing on snakes. Kinda freaky in a way.

So we moved into our apartment downtown Honolulu. Behind me you can see our dinning room and kitchen. Tiny huh especially when you come from a house that had a huge kitchen and dinning room. Place in Hawaii are small. IT is hard to find a big sized one. Even the really expensive ones are kinda small. But Jetta seems to be ok with the change.

Here are some pictures of the view from our temporary apartment. We are in the middle of downtown by Waikiki beach. We are so high . You can beat that. We like the place but I am not a huge fan of city life. But we will see where we end up for our permanent place. Oh Casey is somewhere in the mountains it was when he had the interview.

Jetta Jade came home on her due date May 5th. It was the happiest day of my life. Ever since it has been a hapy little fairy tale come true.

Jetta had to stay in the NICU for an entire month. These are all pics of us waiting for her to get to come home. Jetta had anemic problems, keeping her body temperature warm, eating (we had to feed hr through a tube, and then blood in her diapers. Of course they could not let her go home until she wasbetter. Having a child in the hospital works a number on your heart strings. It was the most excruciating thing I have ever had to go through.

I defiantly look like I am in my 3rd trimester. Being 8 months along I should. But people still say I don't show very much for as far along as I am. I just think their jealous cuz they don't look as good as I do when they were this far along. Besides I am sick of people telling me that.

Another update on the baby. The specialist said that the baby has a cyst above her bladder. The Dr.'s are hoping it will go away as fast as it came. But they don't act as if it is life threatening or anything scary so I am not worried about it. She is doing great other wise. Still too small, but like I said b4 i am OK pushing out a small baby.

Paincation to McCall

Casey and I wanted one last getaway b4 we had the baby so we went to the McCall winter festival. It was cold and the ice sculptures were kinda lame. Plus I froze as we waited for the fireworks. We went to a tacky place to eat called Lardo's Never go there. The meat was not cooked all the way. So I complained a lot. Needless to say neither one of us had too much fun. But we actually do have a couple pictures that looks like we might actually be enjoying ourselves. We went snowshoeing the next day. Of course being pregnant I got tired and had to stop a lot to rest. It took forever to get out of the forest. But that was our vacation that was not too fun. Why people like to go out stinkin fresh air I will never understand. How is sitting on a cold potty freezing your behind off fun? Or walking in the snow till you get blisters on your feet enjoyable?

Christmas in our 1st house

We are excited to celebrate the holidays in our new home. I will be enjoying them very much. Especially now that I am done with my Christmas shopping! It will be a highly enjoyable stress free Christmas. I am asking Santa for a camcorder this year so we can capture lots of moments in our baby girl's life. As you can see I am still not showing too much if you look underneath Casey's hand you can see a tiny itty bity pooch. I am O.K. with that, it just means less belly I will need to loose after our daughter comes. Yay me for not having too loose too much weight!(So far) Also I don't have many maternity clothes. But to sum it all up things are doing wonderfully for the Christmas season.

Guess what was on sale for $10! Amazing huh. I was thrilled to find one so cheap. I love how it was made to add petals at the bottom of the tulle. I had too much fun playing around with it. It is so fun getting ready for a little girl! Casey is afraid that I am going to spend too much money on stuff for the baby. But I tell him if we didn't find out the gender of the baby I would not be going out buying her things already. I originally didn't not want to find out what her sex is but Casey wanted did. Guess who won.

Snow in Boise????

Weird huh. We got bout 2 inches last night. Yes it is pretty. Hopefully it wont all be gone by tonight cuz that is how it works around here. I do kinda miss having lots of snow to play in and snowman to build like when i was a kid-o. But if u look at the porch fence u can see how much we actually got. Casey did not even take his mustang 2 work cuz it is horrible on the roads. Anyways this is the adventure this week folks.

Too many dang leafy trees

We spent most of our last Saturday raking leaves. & guess what we are going to do again this next Saturday. With 5 big leafy trees we will never stop racking leaves. I love the trees in the summer time but they are evil when they make me get out and actually burn some calories. Why did we buy a house that needs so much maintenance?! I was spoiled as a kid we did not not needed to rake leaves growing up, we had pine trees. I now know why my parents were smart and planted leafless trees.

Fortune telling Halloween

For Halloween I dressed up as a fortune teller! We had a party here at our new house! I was reading palms, and telling people what there personalities were like. Little did they know I have no clue what I do when I read palms, I just told them the things I already knew about them and they actually thought I was reading there palms. It was great I cant believe I have so many gullible friends. Just kidding everyone I know you were being nice and humoring me. It was a blast. I love Halloween. It's the best holiday! If you look hard you can see my belly. Yep I am starting show.

This is the first ultrasound of baby. Yes it looks like a blobby thing. But it is healthy and doing good. & So is mom! Needless to say we are more ecstatic than words can describe! I am glad that we wont have to adopt anymore that cost more and is more stressful. Even though we got a bill from the Dr saying how much it will approximately cost which is around$2,500 it is still a lot less money than having to adopt. Yes I know that is only from the O.Bo itself. That is how expensive it is to adopt. So becoming pregnant is also better on our wallet. No more stupid tests, probing, poking, and fertility drugs. I also love being prego! I can't stand it when women complain about being pregnant, Yes I agree it is hard and it sucks sometimes, But they just don't understand how wonderful of a thing it is to actually be carying a baby. Sorry ladies I have no sympathy for ya when you whine about being pregnant try adopting for a couple years then you will understand how becoming pregnant is so much easier.

Well we at least wont adopt the first one. We have developed areal love for kids who need to be adopted and want to go to a good home. So we still will someday when the time is right just not at this time.

Yes, Echo went camping and survived! It will be a grand memory of when she actually enjoyed a camping trip. We hiked, swam, played in the dirt, made smores, and in the end she had fun without whining! She is a soft camper, but the great outdoors were kind to her this time and all is still well.

Tis the season of family reunions. Lots of of them when you have a big family. This pic is just the 7 of us on on Echo's side of the fam. No spouses or kids included. It is weird to see us not at tiny kids picking our noses. We are all older and taller. Look how much I take after my mom. I have her nose, cheek's, chin, forehead, and of course the girls all got the plumpy figures. Looking at old family photos of our relatives, from generations before us all the women were just as pudgy. On BOTH of my mom and dad's side. None of the girls in our family ever had a chance of getting the long, thin, lean genes. It is hopeless. Nope we look like our ancestors and there is nothing we can do about it but laugh. Art museum

I, Echo love art! I like all kinds of mediums and I enjoy gazing around the museum. The past few months the art museum has features ANSEL ADAMS. What a fantastic photographer. I had the time of my life frolicking through the rooms with his gorgeous black and white photos showing off the beauty of the world. His photos capture so much more than I can when I take pictures. I just wanted to show you all my favorite pictures that he has created. Notice how some objects reflect light or absorb more in the photos. It is amazing how he was able to capture so much with the lighting from the sun, and the glare of the moon.

This past month of Januray has been so foggy. In the mornings I walk with Casey to work. On the way home I took these pictures in the park next to our home. For Christmas we went to my parents and played on their 4 wheelers. I look serious in this picture because I am contemplating going over a hill and just how to do the maneuvering. The picture looks cooler than what it really was, but I like to keep people thinking that I am awesome anyways.

Our vacation

In September we finally made one of our dream vacations come true. We went to Sunny Florida. The last night we were there we went on a very romantic dinner cruise on an old Victorian paddle boat. The night was filled with music, dancing and all the ooshy gooshy love mush stuff anyone could handle. Complete with a beautiful sunset in the back ground. We hadda blast so you are forced to look at how much fun we had.

Edgmont Key!

We went out on a boat to go to this beautiful little island, on the way there we saw lots of dolphins playing, jumping and showing off for us. When we got to the island we explored an old spanish fort and lighthouse on it. After we looked through the exotic little island we got to snorkel for sea shells and see cool fishies. We did it all and I didn't drown! Yay for me!

Mustang convertible!! Yup that is what we rented while we were in Florida. It was soooo much fun. This was the first time I have ever been in a convertible let alone drive it. I felt like a hoity toidy as we were cruising down the streets. Casey did enjoy it, but he kept saying it is not as fast as his 90 mustang. I just thought we looked hot in it.

The Warm exotic beach

Ahhhh the Wonderful ocean water. I could not believe how warm the water was in Florida. It was like taking a nice warm bath. Casey literally had to pull me out of the water every day. We had fun making sandcastles, burying each other, and the usual stuff everyone does at the beach. We felt like we were kids again! But I cannot get over how white the sand was, it was so easy to mold. Just like snow only warm. I wish I could have brought home a sand box of it to play in. But, I hear that the state frowns upon stealing their sand.

Plant Mueseum

While in Florida we went to the Plant Museum in Tampa Bay. It was an old building that looked like a sultan's palace on the outside, and was very Victorian on the inside. This pic is of me trying desperately to mimic this astounding piece of art. I think I'd make a perfect model for any artist's creation.

This is the last of our Florida adventures. Phew, no more boring vacation pics. The rest of the blog is a labyrinth of pictures and things we love.

Hangin' with the kids

These are just some of the kids we hang out with to play. We love them soooo much although we are a little partial considering we either babysit them or are related to the cute little stinkers. Casey was operating our nephew and heard something coming from the diaper; they both look pretty surprised. The pic with the girls was Halloween night, we like to borrow other peoples children to play, since we don't have any as of yet.

Engineering Genius

Casey Graduated in May 2007

Majoring in Mechanical Engineering

This means he is going to make Echo rich and she will spend his money. (On student loans)

Casey worked very hard to get his degree so of course we had a big celebration on the day he graduated! He now works at a local engineering firm putting all he learned into practice. Casey chose to be an engineer mainly because he enjoys working with his hands, solving problems, and likes to find new ideas for paintball markers. Unfortunately, the engineering firm designs buildings instead of paintball guns. Who would have thought, there's actually more work in building design than paintball.

Casey also has a minor in business and hopes to one day own his own engineering firm. Echo told him to name it after her but alas, the name is already taken. This just means that the company will have to be called Exotic Echo Engineering.

Caught in action

Casey is great at playing sports. He runs at a turbo speed and has cat like reflexes. He has the need for speed. His favorite sport of all time to play is paintball. He says there is something about getting the adrenaline going when your dodging paint balls aimed toward you at a high velocity speed all the while trying to shoot the other team that gives you the Bruce Willis Die Hard kind of feeling to save the world.

Echo mainly likes to play with friends and family. None of this professional talented stuff. As you can see I am not the most graceful ball player of all times, but at least I know the dynamics of throwing and catching a ball. I am not a big fan of paintball, I can't see how getting hit really, really, really hard by a ball of paint that leaves welts all over you fun.
